The 20 m Floating Mangrove Walkway forms a winding footpath: 8 metres straight, a 4-metre turn, then another 8 metres, 1.5 metres wide throughout. The turns give a sense of exploration and let the path avoid mangrove trunks or shallow spots on site. Unlike timber boardwalks on piles, a floating walkway needs no piling between the roots, so its impact on the mangrove ecosystem is minimal and installation is faster.
